Want to find out more about estate planning?
We take a holistic approach to ensuring your estate plan protects your children. Here are some of the tools we use.
Trusts
Trusts allow you to strategically plan for the unexpected, and once funded transfer your assets to your children or other beneficiaries without going through probate.
Wills
A will tells the probate court what to do with your assets instead of applying the default laws of the state. These laws usually have a percentage of your assets go to your spouse, but the rest go to your children.
Powers of Attorney
If you become incapacitated, powers of attorney allows someone else to step up and make legal and healthcare decisions for you. Without a power of attorney, someone else has to petition a court to have them appointed as your guardian.
